Partner Adam Adler Named David A. Pierce Award Winner

The National Society of Entertainment and Arts Lawyers (NSEAL) has named partner Adam Adler the winner of its David A. Pierce Award. This honor recognizes Adam’s contributions to the fight for artists' rights and creative freedom. He will be honored at the second annual awards ceremony on July 17 in Hollywood, CA.

Adam’s win resulted from his recent notable work during the past year. He successfully challenged Marvel and DC Comics’ joint trademarks for the term SUPER HERO, freeing it for broader use and marking a rare win in the IP realm. Additionally, Adam helped secure the repeal of Blackbeard’s Law, restoring copyright protections for filmmaker Rick Allen’s historical footage.
