RJLF Recognized at The Legal Aid Society’s 2025 Pro Bono Publico Awards

The Legal Aid Society of New York honored RJLF at its 2025 Pro Bono Publico Awards ceremony last week for their noteworthy pro bono contributions to the organization and its clients.

A team from RJLF—Michael Feldberg, Naveed Hasan, Zach Jacobs, Nat Warner, and Alex Williams—has been partnering with The Legal Aid Society to represent immigrants facing potential deportation. Their work includes representation in asylum and deportation proceedings, drafting habeas corpus petitions, and potentially appearing in hearings.

Each year, The Legal Aid Society recognizes the exceptional efforts of volunteer lawyers, law firms, corporations, and professionals who generously dedicate their time and expertise to providing high-quality legal services to low-income New Yorkers.
