Lawdragon 500 Recognizes Michael Feldberg in 2026 Antitrust & Competition Guide

Michael Feldberg has been recognized in the 2026 edition of the Lawdragon 500 Leading Global Antitrust & Competition Lawyers. This is the second edition of Lawdragon’s guide, which highlights top advisors in antitrust and competition law.

Michael’s antitrust experience includes serving as lead trial counsel in high-profile cases, such as the successful defense and acquittal of a poultry industry executive in a federal criminal antitrust trial brought by the Department of Justice. The case involved allegations of price-fixing in the $28 billion broiler chicken industry and resulted in a not guilty verdict after a four-week trial. This long-awaited victory followed two mistrials in December 2021 and March 2022 when jurors deadlocked after weeks of trial. Michael has also defended major financial institutions in multidistrict class actions, including representing Barclays Bank in litigation alleging a conspiracy to suppress gold prices. With potential damages of nearly $8 billion at stake, Barclays—along with Scotiabank and Société Générale—agreed to a settlement among the three banks amounting to less than 1% of potential damages.

The Lawdragon 500 Leading Global Antitrust & Competition Lawyers is described as an “authoritative and timely guide to the advisors who negotiate deals that pass regulatory scrutiny, battle for consumers and companies in massive competition contests, and navigate the frameworks of numerous countries and markets for global forces.”
