RJLF Secures Arbitration Win for Fejost Against New York Healthcare Provider
Reichman Jorgensen Lehman & Feldberg LLP (RJLF) achieved a significant arbitration victory for Fejost, a Bronx-based, minority-owned business that provides essential transportation services to Medicare and Medicaid recipients. Fejost had been denied payment for thousands of rides by Centers Plan for Healthy Living, New York’s largest managed healthcare plan, despite fulfilling its contractual obligations. These denials not only placed financial strain on Fejost but jeopardized the continuity of its vital services for elderly and sick individuals who depend on reliable transportation to medical appointments.
Facing an uphill battle against a corporate giant, Michael Feldberg and Nathaniel Warner led RJLF's legal team, showcasing the wrongful denials and the profound impact these actions had on Fejost's operations and the community it serves. Warner’s skilled handling of key witness testimony proved critical in presenting the facts effectively. The arbitrator recently ruled in Fejost’s favor and the award was paid in full in May 2025, awarding compensation for the unpaid fees and ensuring Fejost's ability to continue its mission.
