Three RJLF Partners Named to Benchmark Litigation’s 40 & Under List
Benchmark Litigation has recognized RJLF partners Jaime Cardenas-Navia, Michael Matulewicz-Crowley, and Adam Adler on its 2025 “40 & Under” list, which honors the most accomplished young litigators in the United States. All three were named in the Intellectual Property category, with Michael also earning recognition in Commercial Litigation.
Jaime and Adam were instrumental in securing a $673 million patent infringement verdict for tech startup Kove against Amazon Web Services. Adam also achieved a major trademark victory for independent comic creator S.J. Richold, successfully persuading the Patent and Trademark Office to cancel Marvel and DC Comics’ jointly-owned SUPER HERO trademarks, exposing their use of a generic mark to stifle competition. Jaime and Michael have both played pivotal roles in high-stakes litigation for Droplets and VideoLabs, securing victories against major Fortune 500 companies such as Amazon, Netflix, Meta, and Apple.
Benchmark Litigation is the definitive guide to America’s leading litigation firms and attorneys. It is the only publication dedicated exclusively to U.S. litigation, with rankings based on extensive interviews with litigators, dispute resolution specialists, and their clients.
