Courtland Reichman Named Top 100 Trial Lawyer in Benchmark Litigation 2026

Benchmark Litigation has once again recognized RJLF Founding Partner Courtland Reichman as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in its 2026 edition, marking the sixth consecutive year he has received this honor.

Courtland was selected for his notable trial work, including leading Kove to a $673 million total award in its patent infringement case against Amazon Web Services. In another major case, Courtland secured an $84 million willful patent infringement verdict for Cirba against VMware in a dispute involving virtualization technology. Despite VMware’s legal defense, Courtland simplified complex technical issues and demonstrated the market value of Cirba’s innovations, resulting in a jury win.

In addition to being named a Top 100 Trial Lawyer, Courtland was also recognized as a Litigation Star in California and a National Practice Area Star in Intellectual Property in the 2026 edition.
