Christine Lehman Named a Winning Litigators Finalist by The National Law Journal

Partner Christine Lehman has been named a finalist for the Winning Litigators – Defense award by The National Law Journal and Law.com. She is one of only 10 finalists in the category and will be recognized at the 2026 D.C. Legal Awards on October 20 at The Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C. The award honors defense-side attorneys for standout trial victories and litigation achievements over the past year. 

Christine, Managing Partner of the firm's Washington, D.C. office, was selected in part for a run of recent defense-side results. She defended Bruker in two major patent infringement matters, resolving an AbCellera Biologics case for a small fraction of the initial $1 billion demand and negotiating a global settlement of separate actions brought by 10X Genomics that preserved Bruker's ability to continue selling the accused products. She represents JetBlack Cycling in a patent dispute with Wahoo Fitness, where her team secured a preliminary injunction that forced Wahoo to withdraw a related International Trade Commission complaint and is now challenging the validity of the asserted patents in the ongoing district court action. She advised OPTO Electronics in defeating most of Honeywell's damages claims at summary judgment, reducing Honeywell's ultimate recovery at trial to a small fraction of its demand. 

Defense is only half of her practice. Christine tries cases from both sides, and on the plaintiff side she has secured more than $1.3 billion in judgments and verdicts since the firm's launch.
