Law.com and The National Law Journal Name Adam Adler a Washington D.C. Rising Star

Partner Adam Adler has been named a Washington D.C. Rising Star by Law.com and The National Law Journal (NLJ). This award will be presented at the 2026 NLJ Awards ceremony on November 5, 2025, at the Westin D.C. Downtown, where winners across 19 categories will be honored for their contributions to the legal profession.

Adam is one of only 22 Rising Stars recognized nationwide. He was selected for his notable achievements over the past year, including helping secure a $673 million award for tech startup Kove in a patent infringement dispute against Amazon Web Services. He also achieved a major trademark victory for independent comic creator S.J. Richold, successfully persuading the Patent and Trademark Office to cancel Marvel and DC Comics’ jointly-owned SUPER HERO trademarks, exposing their use of a generic mark to stifle competition.
